Hello, ive got a lg still air incubator.I wasnt happy with my hatch rates so a friend suggested that i add a fan to it,which i did.Now it im showing a low humidity even tho the large center ,and 1 side well are filled.i calibrated my hygrometer right before i started to incubate and its right on.so im afraid i may drown the poor chicks,or should i go by the hygrometer.Does the fan make the much difference with the humidity? Ill never get the humidity high enough at lockdown at this rate.Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks...

The fan will cause your humidity to run lower.
Do you have both of the red vent plugs in?
What's your humidity running according to your hygrometer?

For LG I recomed you to use a laptop fan

not a descktop computer fan

you dont need lot of air

If you need to increase the humidity , try to put some wet sponges

start with one at the time

you may need to re wet the songes every other day or so

Put a small container of water in there or a sponge.
At times in my LG, I have 2 small containers of water in there along with the wells full.

Thanks for all the responses..I was ready to pull my hair out.
