Humidity - What do you use to check and other questions.

Wondering what folks use to check humidity? I have never been able to get 2 digital devices to give me the same reading.

...and not one ever agrees with my wet bulb set up.

Also... is the wet bulb reading accurate whether it is still air or fan?

Do you want the same humidity reading whether you have lots of ventilation or rather restricted ventilation.

Any help would be much appreciated ... rather new at this.

I only use a digital and it seems to be prety accurate. I hope someone can answer your question a little better.

I have 2 thermometers in my bator now - one says 99.5 the other 90
I also have 2 humidity readers both are non digital - one says 65% and the other says 70% (which is too high for the first day!)

My point is; it seems to me, that unless you spend a ton of $ on an incubator and all the devices that go into it - there is a certain amount of luck involved with hatching eggs!

I have so much more luck with a broody hen. Someone out there should be breeding for that trait to be strong! I'd buy one!
