humidity won't go up

my humidity won't go up higher than 45%. im on day 18 and it needs to be 80% ish. any help how i can raise it I've got temp up to 38.2' to try and raise humidity.

HI,
I do not know how to translate the temp............

Also do not know what kind if incubator you have?????
I put new sponges in the bottom.also a clean wet wash cloth.
It might help to remember it is not how deep the water is but the amount of wet area .
80's is to high. I go 65 to 70........The chicks can drown if the humidity is to high.
As long as you do not have pips.it will be OK to add what you need to bring the humidity up.

I have a incubator that has water wells in the bottom. i have filled them up. the chicks can not get in the water. thanks for ur help. so do you recommend i take out some water.

no.don;t take it out...................add more wet area..Sponges, crumpled paper towels .a clean wash rag??????????
