Humidity?

My eggs jumbo quail 110 eggs to arrive in about a week. Doing dry run on the incubator, and temp is stable 99 to 100 degrees but if i put water in the tray humidity 77 with no water added it fluxuates between 36 and 40 should i bother findind a small water dish or run dry?

If your ambient humidity in the room the incubator is in is 60%, you should be able to do without adding any water until lockdown. Be sure that you are using a calibrated hygrometer to check the humidity.

I would run dry if you're sure your humidity gauge is accurate.
