Humidity?

Right now my chicks are in lockdown and the humidity is 80% and it hasn’t gone down ever since Saturday which was two days ago. Should I open the incubator to check if the humidity checker is still working or should I leave it.
and another question it’s know hatch day for polish bantam eggs, will some of them at h straight away or will it take awhile.
sorry but I have another question. if the polish bantams do hatch (I have also got quail eggs that are in lockdown, however I put the in two day later) and one of the quails have the a little air hole should I open it to get the polish bantam chicks out or should I leave them until all the chicks hatch?

My hatch went well I’ve got around 9 quails from it but there is no sign of the chickens yet which is kinda sad

I’d give it a few days. Just bc temp in your incubator can be off. I’ve had some hatch @ 25 days.

How many chicken eggs did you set? I don’t know anything about quail but for chicken eggs what I have found works for me is to have humidity at 30-45% from day 0 to 17. And then I set it to 60-70% on day 18 to 21. And I just keep a constant temperature of 99.5 F I use a Nurture Right 360 incubator.
