Humidty drop

Hi, first time incubating eggs. I have a dozen chicken eggs currently on day 6. This morning the humidity was good at 47%, sometime between then and when I got off work it had dropped to 23% for some reason. I added water and it went back up to 48% pretty quickly. I have no idea how long the humidity had been down. Will this effect my hatch too much?

Hi!

Nope, that should be okay as long as it was temporary. Humidity is an average, unlike the temperature.

If it's going to be that way every day you work, try get it up to around 55% before you leave.
