In the last 48 hours my humity just went crazy. It help steady 40 to 50 then on day 14 it was droping to 20 overnight it would take time to get it back up. So started having my family help with it cuz husband is up till 3 but in 3 hours it would go from 45 to 20. Now it is going to 85 then to 30 its all over. Yikes. I just bought a humidkit but still a couple of days from getting. I was up all night trying to stablelize it. Are my chicks going to die. All still alive as this morning.

What day are you on?
Which incubator are you using?
Do you have a calibrated (salt tested)humidity gauge in the bator?

I am on day 18 and 17. I am using janoel12 incubater. I have a lacross weather station, and using a. Dial humity and temp reader and the temperature on the incubater.

Smartxchoice is the incubater. I have not done salt test because all the gauges are reading the same.

It's a little too late in the game to worry about the humidity now.
The humidity level this late in the game isn't nearly as important as the humidity the first 18 days so....I'd try not to worry to much and just wait it out and hope for the best.

Next time you really should calibrate.
