I have 4 eggs hatching tomorrow and I had the humity at 60% which I was told it was suppose to be on 70-75% so I added water and I ran to the store and came back and the humity was 88%!!! Do you think that will hurt the chicks in the eggs. I have both vent plugs out and I took one of the window things out for a few minutes and it goes to about 50% then I put it back on and it does right back up to 80-90%. Any ideas on wut I can do? I can't take the water out because its in one of those tray things under the screen the eggs are on.

Thanks,

Use a poultry baster and suck the water up?

80% at this stage of the game will not have hurt your eggs. You can run it with one of the windows slightly ajar. Angled up on one end if the incubator is in a warm house. It should hold temperature and drop the humidity.
