Hummer announces - They arrived alive!!!!!

Just to let everyone know who read my post a few weeks ago regarding my heartbroken experience of receiving dead chicks - I re-ordered from Cackle Hatchery and picked them up this morning from my hometown post-office! They are 100% alive and all seem to be doing well, eating and drinking. Very spunky little babies! I ordered 20 bantams (4 different varieties) and they gave me 3 extras - which is more than I can say for the other hatchery that sent just the 14 that I ordered. BTW, only 2 of those survived - but they are thriving. Thank You, God, for answering our prayers!

Ok, I have loaded some pics and figured out how to attach them - finally! The chick varieties that I ordered are, Buff Brahma, Golden-laced Cochin, Blue Cochin, Auracana/Americana. All Bantams!

Don't know what the rest of you do when your new babies arrive

- but I stayed up just about all night checking on them! Got to bed around 4:30am and woke back up at 7:30am.

Now that they have made it through the first night - maybe I can get some rest tonight! All are doing well!

Upload the pics to a photobucket acct then when you reply on your post go to photo bucket in another window choose the pic and click on the IMG Code link and it will say copied then paste it to your reply.

Oh yeah and CONGRATULATIONS on your babies!!!!!
