Hundreds of chickens

I hope this is okay to post here. I live in Santa Barbara, California and I would like to get the word out that the Santa Barbara County Animal shelter has hundreds of chickens and turkeys up for adoption. They came from one individual's property. I have adopted two and will go back for one more. If any of you in this area are interested there are some really nice birds needing good homes.

I just went back today and got myself a beautiful Dutch Bantam hen. She is so tiny and delicate, I love her.

Wish I lived close enough to adopt a couple, sadly I'm all the way out east.

But I applaud you for saving some of them!

Their site doesn't give much info about what they have. I'll try and make a list of a few of the breeds I remember seeing.
