Hurricane season

I have only been a chicken owner for about a year, and we didn't have any hurricanes last year (south Louisiana). Now that I've got my coop and run and a larger flock, I'm afraid of how they will hold up in hurricane/tropical storm winds. How do you prepare for hurricanes or high winds? I don't want my babies to get scared or hurt. The coop now stands where a wooden swing set stood, which hurricane Isaac knocked down .

I would think that if you used those screw in things not sure what there called, with cables attached to the coop should hold it down in high winds.

An anchor. Does anyone else have those?

Get a few of these. I have a couple of them supporting my grape arbor. It would take a lot to pull these out of the ground.
