Hurt Ducks - Eye infection or eye injury?

In the last few weeks two of my ducks have developed an issue with their right eye. First it happened with one of my hens. We took her in and tried to care for the injury. We also let her be alone for a few days.

Now a few days ago a Pekin drake has developed the same issue. I’m not sure if it is an eye infection that is being passed around or if they both just happened to be injured in the same eye.

I had two new Welsh Harlequin drakes, who were fine until mating season arrived, who may be the culprit. I have isolated them from the rest of the flock and will see if any further issues arise.

In the meantime, is there anything we can do for their poor eyes?

The drakes could likely be the culprits, often they're to blame for eye injuries
Do they have water deep enough to dunk their whole heads?

Yes, they have two buckets which allow that, plus a pond when outside

Terramycin eye ointment is one way to treat and also rinsing the eyes with a saline solution made specifically for the eyes recipes online.
