Hurt Leg on 7 week old chick

Hello,
I was out of town and a friend was taking care of our Chicks. When I returned I noticed that one of the 7 week old chicks was not able to stand or walk regularly. One of her/his not sure yet legs lays straight out and seems to have no grip to her toes. I have been doing Arnica cream for 2 days and Vitamin B Complex for about 4 days. I feel like it is an injury, but then the more I read about Merek's disease the more worried I get, any thoughts on what could be going on?

How is your chick doing today? There are things that can have similar symptoms to Mareks, injury, vitamin deficiency etc.

Thanks for your reply, I got some guidance off backyard chicken Facebook. They suggested vitamin deficiency as well. I gave her a small amount of selenium paste and vitamin b complex, hoping to see some improvement soon! I'll keep this updated!

As always, if you do lose her a necropsy will be the best way to know what's going on. Chickens are tricky little buggers when it comes to hiding what's really wrong.
