Hurt wild Canadian goose

I went to my local lake this evening and saw a goose with a pretty worrying injury. I couldn’t find the words to describe it so I couldn’t find anything on google. Does anyone know what this is?

You could try calling your local wildlife rehabilitation centre, and tell them where you saw the goose.

It looks like it has a cut across it's breast. At the very least there are feathers missing there.

I was going to do that but they’re closed. Also she was walking around and didn’t look to be in too much pain, and it didn’t look like there was blood.
