Hello All!
I am using a wet bulb type hydrometer. I understand that the humidity should be kept at 50% for the first 18 days or so, is that correct? 50% humidity would be about a 84 degree reading on the hydrometer? The humidity doesn't seem to stay consistant, seems it goes to the low side, could that be because of conditions outside the bator? Unfortunatly I can't keep it in the house. Last night the water bottle went dry and there was no water in the bator in the morning. Do you suppose any damage was done? Eggs are on 3rd day. Last question.... Any recomendations on a digital thermometer/hydrometer combo that has a probe type sensor? I have an old Marsh Roll-X and the plastic top has gotten cloudy over the years which makes it hard to see the thermo. Thanks!!
