So 2days ago I had 1 coturnix quail hatch and one dead in shell
. 11chicks are due to hatch tomorrow. I check the history on the hydrometer and it says it got to 94% humidity!!!! What?! I fight to get it at 70%! Could this be a real, serious reading? The hydrometer is right next to where the one quail hatched, could it have gotten a higher reading because the wetness of the hatching egg? If it's a real reading is that what killed the quail? I hear chicks peeping in their shells so something must be alive but would most of the chicken embryos dead?
Advice would be appreciated, thanks.
