Yesterday I calibrated 2 hygrometers. I have the cheapos you get from petco. If I could afford a better one I'd get one. Just can't afford them right now. Anyways, when calibrating the hygrometers I know you use the salt and water test and are suppose to leave them in a sealed baggie for over 7 or 8 hours. Well, I didn't check mine after or 7 or 8 hours. I checked mine after about 18hrs. One was about 5-6% off while the other was at 10% off. Do I need to recalibrate them again and check at 8hrs. Or can I go based on these numbers?
If I understand correctly the one which was 10% off when I do finally get eggs in there that one should read at about 50% which will make the actual humidity around 40% am I correct on my numbers. I don't want to screw things up.
Thanks
Kim
