She was the bullied one and I’ve tried to integrate her back into the flock, just like any others, and for some reason, they will not accept her. I’m hoping that when I get some new in the spring new friends. But even my sweetest chicken ever who I never thought I would see act like that has gone after her. It’s weird. So I’ve kept her in a while in a separated area, where she can see the others, but they can’t get to her.I have found the occasional bullied or sickly hen who has gotten stuck in a hiding place and could not get out. It is good that you found her in time, and I would continue to try and warm her, offer some sugar water or electrolytes, and mushy wet chicken feed and soft egg is very good to offer. Is her crop empty or full, hard or squishy? Is she pooping? Has she laid an egg recently?
So I don’t think she was hiding from anything or anybody I think she’s just a chicken and they get themselves in some peculiar situations I just wish I had known earlier in the day that she was in that situation because she obviously had to be stuck there for a while before the sun started going down and I went to get her and couldn’t even find her at first, I literally thought she was gone couldn’t figure it out so I saw one little feather sticking out and thought she was was killed And then my hand there and realize she was still warm. It’s a good way to have your heartbroken and healed at the same time I guess.lol
