She is almost fully grown and she walks around making that two syllable noise that the females make. This is my first “batch” :p of guineas so I would like to no if this is normal or not.

It is absolutely normal. It will continue until she has a mate and then will not be as frequent. We are coming up to breeding season and the guinea hens are sounding off almost non-stop.

But she has one male she grew up with.

Yes but it is nearing mating season and this is what guinea hens do. I have 7 hens and 6 males and the hens have been "buckwheating" almost non-stop for several weeks now. They all have the same mates they chose from as last year but this is part of their annual ritual even if they choose the same mates again this year..

It sounds like you only have two guineas which is not the optimum conditions for guineas. They are a flock bird and do best in large groups. I never recommend fewer than 10 guineas for a flock.

Yes we want them to bred this season but I didn’t know if, since they were raised together, they would bred.
