i’m lost about my rooster

so i have this rooster and was curious why his tail feathers are white and droopy? he’s not sick or anything. on the contrary, he’s super active, crows normally, and has no hesitancy chasing and squaring up against me. if it’s not caused from sickness, what is it? is this normal for roosters at some point in their life?

Do you have a better picture? The white is just the down undercoat color. Different breeds have different tail sets.

How old may be starting to molt but does not look so droopy to me

I can't really tell from the picture, but he might just be getting ready to molt. Their feathers can look really dull, rough, and worn out right before a molt

The white is the under fluff at the base of the feathers. Its showing because he is missing some feathers between his saddle and main tail. He just needs to molt and he'll look "normal" again.

Agree there nothing at all wrong poor boy is molting do not worry his feathers will come back if you want to help him a bit of yogurt or cottage cheese with scrambled egg will help

Looks normal to me.
Some birds have more fluff at the tail base than others.
The long curved tail feathers are normal too, they are called sickle fathers.
