They didn’t start doing it until they started hangout w the neighbors duck. My other three ducks stay pretty close and come in when we call them, sometimes before. It’s hard to say! I worry though cuz here in SE Michigan it was so cold.Hiya, and welcome to BYC!
We have a very large creek that stays open all winter down the hill behind our home, so I checked into getting ducks. I was informed that Muskovies are the least apt duck to disappear.
We still haven't gotten any, as I'm just so afraid they will go exploring.
