That's what I think too AArt - the fact that they are in the same coop. I think they will return there most readily. And the fact that you moved the coops... they will stick pretty close to what they know which is the coop.

I would let them out say 4:00 and gradually earlier.

I was going to let the first set out today, , I really excited to do this but I’m trying to decide if today is a good day to die! Let me explain, I moved the horses back and forth between the barn and the big field. That means after I let the chickens out I will be moving the horses back. I need to do it sometime somif you never hear from me again you will know why!

Ok really thank you for the help. Going to just do it.
