I’ve been raising chickens since I can remember, reading BYC for years and now I’m a member and can interact. Watch out!
Can I welcome myself?!?
My first memories of chickens is collecting eggs from my moms flock (It’s still like Easter for me every morning. And I’m a little jealous when I have to send the kids out to do it) We live in the tropics now and have chickens for eggs and occasionally meat. I am an animal lover to the core. I was always bringing lizards, snakes and such home to take care of. My mom said, “Fine, just no grasshoppers!” So I fed those to the chickens.
