I will try the kiddie pool in another day or so and will add warm water to it. Thanks again ! What is your advice about what age should they be givin grit ?

Hm . . . I've given grit to my grownup ducks, but it doesn't seem like they need it . . . if you really want to try it, though . . . any time from the age of about one week will be safe for them to try it. If it seems like they're choking on it . . . (obviously) don't use it!!! I don't see why they would, though!
