Hello,
We do not own any chickens. But we own 2 Peahens and 2 Peacocks. We have had them for about 4+ years. We enjoy watching them and when they start their yelling, we tell the neighbors that they are our alarm system. Lol.
I grew up on a Dairy farm and retired from working in a factory. (I have always enjoyed being outdoors.)
I learned about Back Yard Chickens when I Goggled "Peacock questions and answers".
We sometimes have questions about Peafowl and unfortunately, we have nobody locally to ask that has owned any peafowl.
We hope to learn more about the wonderful world of caring for birds by reading about them on the Back Yard Chickens website.
