Hi guys, I am new to this website and owning chickens! My family and I looked into getting chickens and here we are with four chicks. We got them when they were a few days old and now they are about 4 weeks. We have two Rhode Island Reds named Tilly and Red, one Light Brahma name Eagle and one Araucana named Cricket. Love this sight and hope to get lots of helpful info

So glad you could join our flock! Thanks for sharing that photo of your chicks.I love their names! You have a wonderful selection of breeds. I've really enjoyed my Rhode Island Red and Easter Egger (which is probably what your Araucana is, unless you bought it from a breeder). I've never kept Light Brahmas, but have always admired their color pattern.

! Oh and thank you Wyandottes7, I didn't know for sure what our Araucana/easter egger was because we actually just got them from our local feed store and they told us it was an Araucana. I thought it might be and Easter egger because I now that those breeds are often mixed up. But now I know :).
