I am a newbie!!

Yea, it's hard to choose, so many beautiful breeds out there....I ended up with GLWs (I think they are just so pretty, winterhardy, supposed to be pretty good layers. 2 out of the 3 are very friendly, the youngest one is shy and low man on the totem pole in my group of 5), 1 EE that is also a bit shy and 1 SF that is absolutely adorable!!!! The SF is the clown of the group, the most inquisitive and friendly, follows me around, comes running when called. And she is pretty!! I also considered Buff Orpington/Australorp/Delaware/RIR/BR for a while. Initially planned on 4 chickens, ended up with 5 and I am thinking I'll get another 1 or 2 next spring.....Will convert the 8x12 shed to a coop this fall.

Chickens are kind of addictive....Then I will have to figure out what breed. So, good luck with whatever chickens you settle on, I am sure you'll love them!!!!
