WOW that is pretty incredable that you can take away the whole shell..... I am hopeing that I don't have to help any more...I was really excited to see the new piped egg was still rocking when I got home this evening. None of the other 3 have started piping yet. Tomorrow is the 21st day.

My silkies piped and didn't do anything for 12 hours or so. Thank goodness I was at work during that time. But with mine I found that raising the temp to 100 and the humidity to 70% or above they would hatch.

I have 2 little silkies that hatched over night. They are both doing just fine and have even had a poo! Mom's love to see a poo...don't ask! I have a couple more eggs that haven't piped yet and today is due day.
