I am afraid my silkie died during hatching

A silkie was hatching now for4 hours and he was making a lot of noise i went to check on him and he is totally quiet no noise at all no movement i am afraid he might have died any of you more expirienced can you tell me if this is normal or not this is my first egg so i imagen and hope i am wrong

How far has he hatched? It's a LOT of work to break the egg and he needs constant rest. Give him some time, some chicks need up to 48 hours to fully hatch.
He will probably start peeping and hatching again in a couple hours.

It’s normal. He’s taking a break right before he busts out. It can take 24 hours to get out from pip to chick. Let him do his thing.
