I placed my first order for some eggs to try to hatch from a fellow member just over a week ago. They were shipped via priority mail from Florida to Arkansas and the delivery confirmation number shows that they were scanned into the post office for shipping on November 29th, but still no package. Normally, priority mail only takes 2 days to get here from the east coast. I assume that they are lost.

If they do show up after being in the mail for this long, what is the chance that I will get any of them to hatch?

That stinks

Well, eggs can be stored up to 14 days, after that the hatch rate starts going down, so if they have been in the mail for 8 days and the shipper collect the eggs right away all on the same day and shiped them they still have a chance for a few more days at least.

Thats hoping the P.O was good to them.

Good luck, I hope they come soon !!

Awh heck, that just stinks.

I hope they arrive today safely.

Did you confirm with the sender that they had the correct address/zip code. Maybe they could have mis-typed a digit or something???

thats what i hate the most about the P.O that they always take their time !

The mail does slow down when the holidays come around, not that I think thats a good reason.
