I am confused about Developer feed, grower feed and layer feed

I am feeding my older chicks (nearly 12 weeks now) Organic Developer feed. (I ordered it from mpc)

Is Developer the same as grower? I know it is different from layer but I don't know why it is different.

What are the differences?

Each producer is different. Generally you have starter feed, grower ration, and layer ration. Starter is crumble most of the time so that it's easier to eat by small birds. Grower tends to be highest in protein. Layer tends to have more calcium.
