We used to raise rabbits many years ago. I wanted to get back in to it for the meat. So I bought 2 pregnant does and a young buck. I have no plans for breeding again till fall, so the young buck was ok. I have been concerned because I thought Penny was due yesterday. Well, I did some reading and found that a rabbits gestation period is 30-32 days. I thought it was 28 days. How could I forget that? LOL
Anyway, Penny's due date is actually tomorrow or Saturday. Isn't she pretty. This was taken right after I got her.
Copper was bred the day I bought her, so she should be due next week.
Here is Dano or Danny Boy as I often call him. He is much bigger than this now.
I love my rabbits. I have been putting frozen bottles in with them when it gets above 80*
