Thanks! I got the egg scale on ebay. There are a lot of them on there. There was a green one that was used on the I Love Lucy Show. THAT would have been cool to have but it got too pricy for me. I got this one for only 16.50 (+8$ shipping) It is missing the scale stabilizer but I don't know what that really does. It weighs things very well and came with an antique glass egg.
As an aside Amelia is out there in the nest box again as I type! She rolls those plastic eggs under her so gently! I bet we'll get another one today!
