I am looking for a Frizzle :)

I am new to this site, and I feel a bit lost at where to add a "want" post in my area. I'm in Broward county and I need to find a "Bantam Frizzle" female.
We had 2 pet chickens, Salt and Pepper since they were young. Only about 2 years maybe and all of a sudden we found Pepper belly up a few days ago

No apparent reason, no marks no blood, no sign of anything wrong. It was quite upsetting to all of us especially Salt she's so sad her sisters gone and all she does is cuddle under my neck and cluck quietly. Salt is white and fluffy (of course) and pepper was black

I have tried to find a good gentle female to be with Salt around her size but it's nearly impossible. My six year old is missing her a lot and no one seems to have them at an older age, just babies. If anyone out there can help me find one, please contact me at [email protected]

Have you tried posting on your local craigslist in the farm and garden section. Then you know you are dealing with people who live near you.

Yes I have looked and even listed on CraigsList but no luck at all. We went all the way down to WPB and found a dirty run down place with Roosters and white chickens, not what we asked for when on the phone. I figured coming here on BYC I might have better luck or chance of finding one.
