I am selling chicks NO IDEA HOW TO TELL GENDER HELP PLEASE!!

Hello I am selling chicks to a friend and she does not want roo's how can I tell?

How old are they?
There is a way to vent sex them, but I THINK that can only be done when they are a day old.

How old are the chicks and what breed? if you post pics it might help

Length of legs, size of feet, size of comb and wattles (if any) redness of comb and wattles, saddle and hackle feathers, personality (inconclusive), and quickness to feather are some indicators. I agree with farmerchef; some pics would be helpful

Many can't be sexed at hatch without vent sexing, which takes quite a bit of skill and instruction. Some breeds are easy to sex at hatch like Barred Rocks, Cuckoo Marans and Dominiques, all by color of down, legs, and size and regularity of head spot.

If they are just tiny babies you won't be able to tell... unless they are sex-linked, then you'd know by coloring.
