I am thinking about raising meat rabbits, any suggestions?

I only have three does and a buck, but my recommendation would be to spend your money and get good cages. Homemade cages just, IMO , don't have the stability that manufactured cages have--for the meat breeds anyways. Search kijiji or craigslist to see if you can pick up some used ones, But I definitely recommend manufactured cages.
