What do I have and why does the one have dark feathers?

In my experience golden comets come in lots of different shades. I had three and one of them was 80% white while the other two were mostly the tan color. Could be something similar.

Pullet or cockerel also what breed. They came from mixed flock of golden comet, cinnamon queen, black sex link, amerucana, Orpington, cream legbar.
