Let's try to keep this a factual discussion without a Politician's Roast, if we can. How will it be distributed? Who gets it? Do they have to pay it back; in other words, is it a fake, in all reality?

All this confuses me I for one never pay my taxes when I get a paycheck I always opt to pay at April rather than give a huge cut to the government every month in hopes of a small return. I would rather invest my own money and make it work for me through out the year, and then pay what I have to at tax time. i try explaining it to friend but it seems that even though using this method I actually pay less taxes they would rather shell out a lot more and have a check in Spring. Makes no sence to me whe I crunch the numbers, but to each his own. I do realize that this comment is off subject but felt like ranting

Wow. I diddnt know that. That just stinks. Everyone thinks they are gtting money handed to them, adn then to find out they have to pay it back! Just goes to show you nothing from the government is free! (That coming from someone who did get tax money back last year, but I know where is came from. I just dont see the point in turning it down. I dont think it would make any difference in where our country is headed at this point.

Just like those bailouts. Now the companies are whining, cause the government is telling them what to do. Yup, if they give you money you can darn well bet they are gonna tell you what you can spend it on!

Though geareduplyn and I have had disagreements before, I have found that we pretty much agree.

I guess I am just glad to find out that we arent getting any extra because we dont withhold.

I too would like to hear more factual discussion about this.
