I can’t get dried blood off

Idk what happens but we went out to a blood bath a few days ago!! one of my girls ear looks damaged!! There is a huge ball of dried blood or maybe dried up tissue that i can’t seem to get off and the other girls keep trying to peck it!! i know i can use blue-kote to stop pecking but i’d really like to get the dried stuff off!! i’ve tried putting a warm compress and gently using a washcloth to get it off but it won’t come off!!!

i don’t want to hurt her by playing with it too much!! i have her confined but it’s just killing me leaving her in a cage .. any tips on getting her clean?

I would think that it's best to leave it alone so it doesn't cause more harm to her. Just in case that it's not something serious that's being messed with. Try a pure Epsom salt bath, that can help with some pain and possibly getting it detached. A little bit of dawn soap can help.

It might 'kill' you but it's probably best for her.

the first picture is daisys wound fresh and the second is what it’s looking like now .. it’s not terrible .. but i can’t get that black chunk off .. ps don’t mind my face i had sinus surgery lol

this is my pearl girl .. her flesh wound and how’s she’s doing now!! no one seems to be picking at her but i still have her isolated as well

That's not that terrible. Combs are just very vascular, so the smallest cut, may bleed alot.
