The cloth would be on top, right, so they grass grows up through the cloth and they can't eat it down to the roots? hmm good idea

in the middle so 2x2 wire 2x2 screwed together but yeah so the grass can grow through. Im gunna see what scraps i have layin around to try this out.

oh layer the frames on each other. i don't see the difference though. make two 2x2 frames with cloth over the top of each. the grass will grow through it either way but you will have two instead of one.

I'm not sure,maybe thats how he secured the cloth by screwing the 2 together?
