I have some barred rocks that are about 2 months old. I usually keep them in the house at night but I left them out at the barn to get acclimated to cooler than house temps. It is a warm night 65 supposed to drop to 50. It has also started raining though. As soon as the sprinkles started I went to check on them. They were sitting in their favorite corner of the run in the rain. I ran them into the barn and they ran right back out.
Now for my insanity. Here I was at 2 on a rainy morning walking the framework on top of my run to put up a tarp. I had plenty of light 2 500 watt worklights. To add to my lack of common sense I was in the middle of wire tying the grommets to the fence on the tarp that was already in place. In the middle of it I wound up having to tell myself hey retard you could be doing this from under the tarp instead of in the rain now.
I finally got them to stay in the barn after everything was done and I kept picking them up and putting them in. Is there any hope for me or these mentally challenged Barred rocks?
