I am getting new chickies soon and I need to build a separate enclosure for them (they may not get along with my current chickens) but the only good location is right on the fence line with my grumpy neighbors who hate all things animal (and most other humans for that matter) so I was wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks to block noise from the chickens to the neighbors ex) putting a blanket over the coop in the mornings or something to minimize noise? I have heard that hay bales up against the side of the coop can help as good noise barracades? does anyone have experience with this?
any input would be very helpful, Thanks!

30 chickens?
And some ducks?

Hes gonna know they are there . . .

Maybe make another barrier fence to keep them a few feet away from the main fence?
If its just the coop your worried about, I think lining the inside with acoustic ceiling tiles would definately go a long way.

Thats a tough one!
Good luck!
