I don't think Thor gets "it" (mating question)

Okay, so Thor is still immature (for a brahma) at 10 months. He's only been able to mate freely for about a month now, since I re-homed Zeus.
Still, Thor falls off more than he succeeds. He's much larger than even my largest hen.
Does he just need more time, i.e., does practice make perfect?

If took my LARGE buff brahma a couple months to get things right. He still falls of sometimes. He is almost 1 year old. So yes give hime some time.

Give the little guy some time to practice. I'm 41 and hopefully a little smarter than the average chicken and I fall off occasionally too.
