I have 5 chickens. All are about 1 1/2 years old. All of them started losing feathers back in October 2011. I thought they were molting. But they never got new feathers. After much reading on this site and talking to a co-worker who has chickens, we decided they had mites. I cleaned everything and dusted the girls and the coop and run with Sevin. They have always continued to lay eggs; 3-5 every day, which I thought was a good indicator that they were OK. They are still bald all around their bottoms, under their wings and a few are bare on one side of the neck. They act OK. They are active. I don't see and lice or mites, and I have checked at night while they are roosting. I don't see anything.
Three days ago I have one chicken who doesn't look good. Her comb is pale and flopped over. She looks like someone beat her up! She sits in a nest all day and night. I took her out and gave her water and food, which she drank/ate. The other chicken won't her eat the lettuce I put and they won't let her be around them.
Help me!! I almost feel like I should put her out of her misery so she won't get the others sick.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

First, there's a sticky at the top of this forum with a list of questions to answer. Try filling that out with as much detail as possible. The more we know, the better we can help you. We need an idea of their diet, environment, worming history, etc.. Then hopefully someone will be able to give an suggestion.

Sorry, I can't offer much advice, but I would suggest giving her water with electrolytes and encouraging her to drink it. Try putting scratch or other treats in it, and giving her foods like cucumbers and watermelon that have a lot of water content. You could also offer them a water with Nutri-Drench in it to keep their energy up.
Good luck!
