I read somewhere that you can take a small elastic and put it your polish's feathers on their head so they can see, well this did not go as planned. well the elastic was on there, she did not like it, she look terrified, she was yelling I was sad, my ducks came over to check if she was OK. it took me about a min to get it off. I feel so terrible I stressed her out, she just cuddled to my neck afterward while I patted her,
What a dumb idea that was, She truly is the sweetest little thing (she is 2 months old) she has always been the bravest too, always the first to check things out.
I just felt bad that she can't see as well with all that hair. :(

so has anyone else done this?

Do trim the feathers. Go to town on them. I trim mine every three weeks or so. My Muffy girl is getting used to it. But trimming does not help them from wondering off and getting lost.
You can't trim dumb.
