I feel so bad, my poor polish izzy (she's OK)

Never fear, once she is grown and living with the rest of the flock her fellow chickens will likely beat those excess feathers off her head. The biggest problem with Polish chickens is that they are forever blundering into situations that will get them attacked by the rest of the flock. This likely happens because the Polish fowl are unable to clearly see their surroundings.

I tried it on my silkies and they hated it. Now i give them haircuts when they need it and everyone is happy and they can see where they are going.
