I feel so sorry for her

Don't forget to bring hubby some treats from your trip.

The Yogurt was a big success, she loved it (so did the cats by the way) Didn't much take to the frozen spinach, but it was a try. she looks better already. I removed the corn from her diet and replaced it with egg mash. My husband suggested that I take her over to our farm and put her in the lower barn (she can still go in and out) I was wondering if I should take her buddy with her?

A pal would be great, except..... chickens will peck a wounded pal to death. If you could keep them to where they could see each other but not actually touch it would be great.
Perhaps a wire divider?

I guess she will stay in the crate. I have a barn cat at the farm that has not been introduced to her and I am not sure how he will react. My other cats pay them no attention. My husband will watch her and make sure she is taken care of. She already looks much better -- at least the wound is not open now and is starting to heal. Will she ever have feathers there again?

Thanks everyone for your advice -- this is a great website.

I just posted this on another thread. Don't feed much (if any) spinach. It is full of oxalates, which binds with her calcium. It can, if fed to much, lead to serious calcium deficiency.
