I forget, when do mommas shove babies out on thier own?

Isn't it 4 weeks??, I seem to remember it being a month to six weeks til the babies were complety without their mother in the wild ducks i've seen, but i can't remember is it was a month or not?

I want all of my hens to be able to experiance being a mom for the full time, but I can't remember how long the babies will stay with her

I have no clue. I am wondering the same.

My duck has not shown signs of being broody but, I would like to know for when she does.

I have a broody mallard(Mouse, whos been sitting on 16-17 eggs for 4 days,) and possibly her sister Tal, who acts likes she is ready to set, shes got 11 eggs, and hasn't laid a new one for about 3 days now.

I am pretty sure that mallards atleast, raise their babies for a month.
