i found a tick or something..?

i found some sort of bug idk like a tick or flea or something above my 4 day old chicken's eye, will there be more? if so ho can i get rid of them annd will these things harm her

It could just be a lone gnat or other bug that won't infest chickens. Check your other chicks, around the vent and under the wings as well as the head.

If you have other chickens then you need to check them all for lice / mites, and if you find more, treat them all. You can safely treat a chick by spraying a permethrin or pyrethrin spray on your fingertips and dabbing it on the head.

You can also use DE. It works well, just buy the food grade kind.
