I found my favorite Game Hen!!!

I've been looking for her for about 2 weeks, maybe more. Just found her in the dog run, behind some plywood I'll be using when I get it back in shape out there.

I HAVE A BROODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could only see 5 eggs when I tilted her, but she's plastered to them.

I get to have a momma and babies now!!!!

Just wish I had found her sooner so I could have had her hatch out some BCMs for me. Maybe she'll go broody again now.

I really thought she was gone and I didn't realize how much room was between the plywood and the fence back there. Wasn't really a lot, but enough. I saw part of her tail and thought I was looking at what would have been my beautiful Juliet's body, but instead I got a growling crazed broody.

Don't know how long she's been there, but it's dark and there's spiders back there. I'll wait. She seems to be fine and I found the nastiest poop in three areas of my yard, so I guess she comes out when she need to.

Man that broody poop smells bad! At first I was looking for a sick bird, then I thought one of the others may be GOING broody. I hope she does a good job, so she can hatch out my other eggs. Could have used her right now.

This was one of the reasons I had mixed them with Marans. Lots of eggs, broody and I hear Marans taste good, so hopefully any pullets will be good broodies too.
